Our team of dedicated staff believe that children achieve their best in a safe, secure and nurturing school community and we work hard to make sure this is the case for our learners every day. We strongly believe that strong relationships between people in our school community are essential in securing success for your child, as such, an effective partnership between home and school will benefit your child’s learning.
We are proud to be a part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust (NPAT) who support us in broadening the opportunities and experiences for our children through the curriculum and beyond. With the support of both NPAT and the Local Authority, Blackthorn Primary opened a high-quality specialist provision, in January 2022, that supports children with additional SEMH needs.
It is a privilege to be the Executive Headteacher at Blackthorn Primary. The staff and I are proud of the school that Blackthorn has evolved to become through the hard work and determination of our school community to provide the best for every child.
